Looks like all the Canes top Juniors will return for next season. Allen Bailey just announced that he is 'definitely' coming back. Leonard Hankerson and Orlando Franklin have already officially announced that they are coming back. The only other junior that considered leaving was Graig Cooper. We are still waiting for news on his ACL, which is probably a pretty bad tear from what I've been reading. I have no clue what Coop will do, the draft is highly unlikely as players only have until Jan 15th to declare for the draft and the combines are at the end of February, Coop will be on crutches at that time. So I guess he can try to medical redshirt next year? I have no clue, his incident is very unfortunate and happened at a really crappy time. I've read that he has already contacted Willis McGahee and as well all know The U is family and Im sure once Willis is done with the playoffs he will train with Coop at sometime in the offseason.
So all in all, lookin good for the Canes, as we will have some leadership next year along with added depth. All of these Juniors had been great in 2009 and will be much needed in 2010.
