Who to keep an eye on NSD...

The Canes aren't in the running for too many more prospects come signing day, but here are some to keep an eye on...

4 star DT J.R. Ferguson is expected to choose between, Miami, Notre Dame, Florida State, LSU, Cal, and Texas Tech

4 star WR Ivan McCartney is expected to choose between, Miami, West Virginia, and Oregon

5 star OT Seantrel Henderson is expected to choose between, Miami, Ohio State, Notre Dame, USC, and Florida

4 star LB Josh Shirley is expected to choose between, Miami, USC, Arizona and Washington (pictured left)

***Per Rivals.com- OL Shon Coleman - Coleman is committed to Auburn, but he could flip to Alabama, Ole Miss or Miami. Coleman has been very quiet, and no one seems to have a good read on him. If he sticks with the Tigers, it wouldn't necessarily be a surprise. Alabama is thought to be the biggest threat to Auburn, but keep an eye on Ole Miss. Coleman emerged as one of the top offensive tackle targets in the Southeast after a great senior season and a terrific showing at the U.S. Army All American Bowl.

***Per InsideTheU.com- Milford (N.Y.) Academy athlete Travon Van verbally committed to Florida in June, but is having second thoughts and will choose between Florida and Miami on signing day.

The 'experts' dont have the Canes as the favorite for any of these prospects so any commit from any of these guys would come a bit as a surprise.... then again NSD is known for its surprises.

Stay tuned tomorrow, as I'll update this blog sometime after 3pm.
